We all have the same amount of time in the day, but how to do we balance that time? How do we keep it simple to enjoy life? How do we make room for our career, family, friends, and workout? One of these easily slips away if you let it. The workout, it is just to easy to say “I’m taking the day off.” The day turns into a week, and so on. Keeping the schedule simple will help you keep that balance in life and maintain the active body we all need to get out into our adventure.
Excuses are too easy to come by when it comes to keeping that body fit, especially over the winter months. I have too much going on at work. My family has a crazy schedule this week. We all have a full book of these excuses. Maintaining the workout schedule has to be a priority if you are going to jump from season to season enjoy all the outdoor adventures that you love. Jumping from climbing to skiing to mt.biking is not always as easy as we want it to be. Different muscle groups, different motions all of which will slow you down between seasons.
